Mary Hamm, MD, FAAP
Physician

Dr. Hamm grew up in Leawood, Kansas and graduated from Blue Valley North High School. She attended Kansas State University where she received a degree in biology with minors in Spanish and Leadership Studies. Dr. Hamm graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Children's Mercy Hospital. She completed an additional year of training at Children's Mercy while serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Hamm is married with two school aged sons.  Dr. Hamm is currently accepting new babies and is on staff to see newborns at Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Missison.

Megan Loeb, MD, FAAP
Physician

Hello, I'm Dr. Loeb, and I'm thrilled to be part of the compassionate and dedicated team at Leawood Pediatrics. As a pediatrician, my journey into the world of healthcare began with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from Kansas State University. I then pursued my medical education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where I gained the knowledge and skills to care for children's health.

I further honed my expertise during my residency at Children's Mercy Hospital, and I'm proud to have completed a chief resident year. This experience has equipped me with the tools and leadership to provide exceptional care to your children.

In addition to my professional life, I am a family person at heart. I am married and have a teenage daughter, and we share our lives with two crazy dogs. I understand the joys and challenges that come with raising a family, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Outside the office, I'm passionate about quite a few things. You might find me pedaling away on my Peloton, experimenting in the kitchen, creating unforgettable memories at Disney World with my family, volunteering in the community, and spending time with my church. These interests help me maintain a balanced and fulfilling life, which in turn, helps me provide the best care for your children.

I'm currently accepting new babies and siblings of established patients. You can also find me on staff to care for newborns at Overland Park Regional and Advent Health Shawnee Mission. Your child's health and well-being are my top priorities, and I look forward to being a part of your family's healthcare journey.

Mary Nagy, MD, FAAP
Physician

Dr. Nagy is one of seven children and grew up in northwest Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital. She has enjoyed practicing medicine since 1986 and now sees children of former patients! Her most outstanding accomplishment is balancing practicing medicine with motherhood. She is married and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family and friends.  Dr. Nagy is accepting new patients and new babies,  and is on staff to see newborns at both Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

Aundria Speropoulos, MD, FAAP
Physician

Dr. Speropoulos grew up in the St Louis area. She attended the six year University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and received her combined bachelors degree and medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency training at Cardinal-Glennon Children's Hospital in St Louis. Dr. Speropoulos has five children, three girls and twin boys, ranging in ages from 1 to teens.  She enjoys staying physically active, attending her children's sporting events and spending time with her family.  Dr. Speropoulos is accepting new patients age 5 and under as well as new babies.  She is on staff to see newborns at both Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

Putul Allen, MD FAAP
Physician

Dr. Allen grew up in Texas and still believes in southern hospitality.  After attending Texas A&M University, she went to medical school at the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas and completed her pediatric training at Cincinnati Children's in Ohio. She has been in private practice for nine years prior to joining our office.  She is married with two teenage boys, enjoys traveling with her family, good food and photography. Dr. Allen is now accepting new patients and new babies, and is on staff to see newborns at both Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.

Angela Gatz, MD FAAP
Physician

Dr. Gatz grew up in Prairie Village, KS and graduated from Bishop Miege High School. She completed her undergraduate degree and medical degree at KU. She went on to complete pediatric residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Gatz is married to a family physician and they have four young children. She is currently accepting new patients and new babies, and will round on newborns at both Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. 

Kaitlin Stein, MD FAAP                                                                                       Physician

Dr. Stein grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa where she received a degree in Human Physiology. She graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, where she stayed for an additional year of training as Chief Resident. She and her husband Alec moved to Kansas City for his anesthesiology residency at UMKC. Dr. Stein looks forward to caring for your family by providing her acute care expertise at your child's sick visits.

Lisa Godfrey, MD FAAP 

Dr. Godfrey grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Saint Louis University for both undergrad, majoring in Biology, as well as medical school.  She moved to Kansas City to complete pediatric residency training at Children's Mercy Hospital and fell in love with KC.  She worked for several years in the Children's Mercy ED before joining Leawood Pediatrics.  Dr. Godfrey and her partner love to spend time with their German Shepherd, Atticus, as well as their nieces and nephews.  She considers herself a foodie and loves to try new restaurants in KC.  In her free time, she loves to travel, hike, and to cheer on the KC Chiefs and STL Blues.  Dr. Godfrey is thrilled to be a part of Leawood Pediatrics and to provide acute care for your families' sick visits.

Dr. Ryan Steele, MD FAAP

Dr. Steele grew up in Springfield, Missouri.  He graduated with honors from the University of Kansas and received his Bachelor's degree in Human Biology.  He then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he earned both his M.D. and Masters in Public Health.  He completed his pediatric residency at UAMS/Arkansas Children's Hospital, and served an additional year as chief resident.  Dr. Steele is married; he and his wife recently celebrated the birth of their son in late November.  The Steeles enjoy skiing in the winter and spending time on the lake in the summer.  During football season, they can frequently be found enjoying the weather and the Chiefs game on the patio.  Dr. Steele will be accepting new patients, new babies, and will be on staff to see newborns at Overland Park Regional and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
