Dr Hamm grew up in Leawood, Kansas and graduated from Blue Valley North High School. She attended Kansas State University where she received a degree in biology with minors in Spanish and Leadership Studies. Dr Hamm graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Children's Mercy Hospital. She completed an additional year of training at Children's Mercy while serving as Chief Resident. Dr Hamm is married with two young sons.
Dr Loeb grew up in Topeka and is one of six children. She attended Kansas State University where she received her degree in Nutrition Science. Dr Loeb graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Children's Mercy Hospital. She completed an additional year at Children's Mercy Hospital while serving as Chief Resident. She is married with one young daughter and enjoys spending time with family.
Dr Nagy is one of seven children and grew up in northwest Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital. She has enjoyed practicing medicine since 1986 and now sees children of former patients! Her most outstanding accomplishment is balancing practicing medicine with motherhood. She is married and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her four grown sons, family, and friends.
Dr Speropoulos grew up in St Louis. She attended the six year University of Missouri-Kansas School of Medicine and received her combined bachelors degree and medical degree. She completed her pediatric residency training at Cardinal-Glennon Hospital in St Louis. She is married and has four children including two young daughters and twin sons.
Urgent Care Physician:
Dr Kuiper is a board-certified pediatrician that works as an urgent care
physician at Leawood Pediatrics during our evening and Saturday
clinics. Dr Kuiper attended medical school at KU Med and pediatric
residency at the University of Iowa. She had an additional year of
pediatric training while serving as Chief Resident at the University of
Iowa. Dr Kuiper worked at a private pediatric practice in Salina prior to
moving to Kansas City. Dr Kuiper is married with 2 young children.
Leawood Pediatrics is proud to have an international board certified lacation consultant (IBCLC) on staff. Jan Blair, RN, IBCLC serves as both a phone/floor nurse as well as lactation consultant in our office. She is well known for her practical approach to lactation support. Jan helps both new and experienced moms establish and maintain breastfeeding. She has over 1200 hours of lactation support experience, knowledge from numerous educational courses, and has passed the rigorous IBCLC standardized exam.
We are pleased to offer blood draws in the office for children 3 years and above. Ashlee is a certified phlebotomist with extensive pediatric experience. She is kind and patient and works with children and their parents to make the experience of labwork as smooth as possible.
